Privacy Policy

We take the protection of your personal data seriously. Below we inform you about how data is processed when you visit this website.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is Producers At Work Film GmbH, Karl-Heinrich-Ulrichs-Straße 20b, 10785 Berlin, Germany. Managing Director: Christian Popp. Email: office@producersatwork.de. Further details are provided in our imprint.

2. Overview

This is a static website. It sets no tracking or advertising cookies, embeds no external analytics or marketing services, and transmits no personal data to third parties when you merely browse the pages. Fonts are served locally from our server; there is no connection to Google Fonts.

3. Server log files

The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. A data processing agreement is in place with Hetzner; the servers are located in Germany. When you access the website, the hosting provider automatically records information your browser transmits in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, and browser and operating-system identifiers. This data is used solely for the technical operation, stability and security of the website and is not combined with other data sources.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and trouble-free operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after a short period unless they are required to investigate a specific case of misuse.

4. Contact form and email

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, subject and message) in order to respond to your enquiry. The form is processed on our own server and delivered to us by email from there; no external form service is involved. Email delivery and the receiving mailbox are provided by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) as well as our legitimate interest and the initiation or performance of a contractual relationship (Art. 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required to handle your enquiry and no statutory retention obligations apply. To protect against automated spam submissions we use a hidden form field (honeypot); no additional personal data is collected in this process.

5. Local storage in your browser

The production overview remembers your filter and sort selection so that it is still in place when you return from a production page. To do so, your browser stores an entry in what is called session storage (key “paw:projects”). That entry holds nothing but this display setting, contains no personal data, is never transmitted to us or to third parties, and is deleted by the browser when you close the tab.

As the storage serves solely to provide the display you explicitly asked for, it is technically necessary within the meaning of Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG and requires no consent. This website sets no cookies.

6. External links and trailers

On our production pages we sometimes link to trailers on external platforms (e.g. YouTube or Vimeo). Content from these providers is not embedded automatically; no data is transmitted to them until you actively click the link and open their site. The privacy policies of the respective provider then apply to any processing there.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, a message to office@producersatwork.de is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority, such as the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

8. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

9. Status

This privacy policy is updated when functionality or the legal situation changes.
