The ARD Degeto film “Der Club der starken Frauen” has been nominated for the Audience Award at the 21st German Film Festival Ludwigshafen am Rhein.

At the center of the comedy is crane operator Mike (Matthias Koeberlin). In order to get a grip on his burnout, Mike and his 10-year-old daughter take the plunge into a parent-child cure. But one thing he didn’t realize beforehand: he is alone among women! And not all the participants are happy about the new male addition.

Other roles are played by Valerie Niehaus, Sıla Şahin-Radlinger, Maya Morgeneyer, Berit Künneke, Bineta Hansen, Jimmy Hartwig and many others.
