2 Awards at the 20th Festival of German Film

Two productions were honoured at the “20th Festival of German Film Ludwigshafen am Rhein 2024” last weekend.

The “Rheingold Audience Award” went to the ZDF Monday film “Sterben für Beginner” (Edin Hasanović, Max Hubacher, Svenja Jung and Peter Kurth), directed by Christian Klandt.
A story about ex-music manager Eric, who is hired as an undertaker and soon learns that his best friend Alex has an irreparable brain tumour.

The young actress Senita Huskić received the “Ludwigshafen Award” for her leading role in the ARD Degeto Friday film “Trapps Sommer” alongside Günther Maria Halmer, directed by Rainer Kaufmann.
