Story
In Munich of the 80s Rudolph Moshammer (Thomas Schmauser) is the most prominent fashion designer. But this is no longer enough for his silent partners and financiers. They want his store in Maximiliansstraße to gain the high nobility and money nobility, the richest of the rich as customers. That’s why Rudolph Moshammer – much to the dismay of his mother Else (Hannelore Elsner) – is looking for a young, seductive woman for the sale. He finds her in the at first glance not particularly striking and clumsy Evi (Lena Urzendowsky), a young podiatrist from Augsburg. Rudolph plans to change her in to an exciting woman. An event. And indeed: With Evis help Moshammer wins the hearts and purses of the truly rich – until, on a society event, the overpowering maternal love Else Moshammers leads up to a disaster.
